Question regarding dry ice - BiggusDiggus - 06-20-2022

I would like to try out the boxing method with dry ice. I just have a few issues with that.

First of all my question is when and where will the package weight be checked? My guess it will be weighted somewhere along its way, maybe towards the end again. Isnt the dry ice already gone at this point and with that the whole point of it lost?
Also it could be still partially there when its unboxed by staff which is not good for obvious reasons. Is it really possible to time this perfect?

Another thing, wont the box be leaking fog like hell Biggrin making it kinda obvious for everyone handling whats inside?

In terms of a local delivery and generally speaking, at the drop off/service point, at the carrier's depot and when It arrives at the company's Inwards goods/receiving area.

No.

You'd need to accurately calculate the sublimation time based on atmospheric conditions, and also storage & transit time.

No, It's not directly exposed to external conditions.

Thank you once again for the answer. @mothered

Do you have any guide or data which I can base such a calculation on? Never worked with dry ice.
