Intel refund from S/N - Specialbrewmike - 06-15-2022 What to do in this situation? Thought I successfully SEd intel as the agreed to refund the price of my processor because they can't replace it..... They won't refund untill the have picked up the old unit Intel response: Hello, We are contacting you regarding your open case no 00000000 We will proceed with the Refund procedure, the amount will be of 000 GBP. Please confirm your desired shipping address including the zip code and your phone number including the country code so we may schedule a pick up of the unit. Thank you for your understanding and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. RE: Intel refund from S/N - ShubhamS11 - 06-15-2022 What story or excuses you gave them at 1st can you tell? Anyways, basically you have two options here from what i can understand Either Think of some ranting to rant at them on mail or phone call so that the Rep agrees to refund without taking the return, *they can do it, either by themselves or with their supervisor's approval. Your this story or excuse should not be in contrary with the reason you gave them at very 1st when you started / initiated your this particular SE with them. Should be reasonably acceptable excuse AT THEIR END. Or Do you want to FTID/LIT them for the return part? My gut feeling If you opt for this, this method will fail surely IF THEY HAVE A PRACTICE OF ISSUING REFUND ONLY AFTER ITS MARKED RETURN RECEIVED FROM RETURNS DEPARTMENT. Or Send then Empty Box if they are responsible for loss of goods in transit its easy to go for returning them a Empty Box of that particular CPU with barcodes, S/N, Batch etc Stickers on it(if you have those with you), they will assume that it was probably stolen by someone in transit. RE: Intel refund from S/N - mothered - 06-16-2022 Quote:They won't refund untill the have picked up the old unitTell them you're away on a business trip, hence not available to meet their pickup arrangement, but you're more than happy to return the unit via a given carrier. You can then box them. RE: Intel refund from S/N - Specialbrewmike - 06-16-2022 (06-15-2022, 10:57 PM)ShubhamS11 Wrote: What story or excuses you gave them at 1st can you tell? I told them the cpu just stopped working sent them photos of computer all lit up and the monitor saying no signal simply just unplugged the hdmi cable I said I had another processor to test and it worked again told them I tested various components but it was obviously the cpu at fault.. After this he agreed for a refund.. I was planning on boxing but didn't know they would want to send someone around to collect it... @mothered that's sounds a very good idea as I already told him I was late replying to his messages because I work away so this sounds the best option for me thanks guys RE: Intel refund from S/N - ShubhamS11 - 06-16-2022 (06-16-2022, 07:27 AM)Specialbrewmike Wrote:(06-15-2022, 10:57 PM)ShubhamS11 Wrote: What story or excuses you gave them at 1st can you tell? Do as mothered suggested you & you can then EB them. Sounds promising. Goodluck! RE: Intel refund from S/N - Specialbrewmike - 06-16-2022 I have had a reply they will issue the refund 10 days after they received the product... Good news is nobody is picking it up the have given me a shipping label for DHL to Netherlands so could be a very successful SE RE: Intel refund from S/N - mothered - 06-16-2022 (06-16-2022, 09:30 AM)Specialbrewmike Wrote: Good news is nobody is picking it up the have given me a shipping label for DHL to Netherlands so could be a very successful SEGiven It's travelling abroad, will the shipment be opened and checked by customs? RE: Intel refund from S/N - Specialbrewmike - 06-16-2022 @mothered I don't know RE: Intel refund from S/N - mothered - 06-16-2022 (06-16-2022, 11:22 AM)Specialbrewmike Wrote: @mothered I don't knowThe reason I asked, Is because If the package Is opened and Inspected by customs, they'll establish the Item was not enclosed which will Impact the boxing method. Essentially, you'd want It to go unnoticed until It reaches the company, thereby they cannot Identify at what point the Item was (apparently) stolen. RE: Intel refund from S/N - ShubhamS11 - 06-16-2022 @Specialbrewmike As mothered said "you'd want It to go unnoticed until It reaches the company, thereby they cannot Identify at what point the Item was (apparently) stolen" <---This bro, gather more info before executing this one! Be careful: Just don't rush it...this one is ALMOST A SUCCESS i feel. |
