Sunglass Hut - stevenadams2323 - 06-13-2022
Yo lads,
I got a delivery and they didnt even send me the tracking number. It came on saturday and was left behind my bins in the open with no envelope (royal mail) they call it the safeplace but i didnt request for it to be there?
Am i just better off claiming DNA as they ddint share the tracking info or should i just go with the inital plan EB.
Ideally im gonna do it today

Both should work fine so it’s up to you which method you’d like to take. Empty box is mostly a success with sunglasses anyway but as you’ve said, the package was not given to you and you didn’t put forward a safe place. See what will most likely work better through their policy responsibilities.

i think ill go ahead with an empty box. Just stating the box came but the case and sunglasses were not inside. With DNA some companies take ages and do the most with the courier. CBA for that

Yep I thought it’s probably best as the liability will be on them then rather than involving courier for delivery info… good luck let us know how you get on.

once the goods have been delivered to you, you become the owner of those goods and from that point they will be at your risk. This means you will be liable for any subsequent damage, loss or destruction. this is their response in the terms and conditions. CBA to deal with a DNA.

The operative words are: "once the goods have been delivered to you". The DNA obviously claims nonreceipt of goods.
