Mad ups guy - uiuasidjijjijio - 06-08-2022

Hi i just did a DNA for 300 he forgot to let me sign and it was in the middle of the street so good DNA material. Shit went all good until the delivery driver visited my house during the investigation. My mum opened and he just wanted to talk to me so no worry's yet. But today he visited again and he was mad. We called him and he has to pay out of his own pocket which i dont find okay so i want to get him his money back. Is there some good excuse as to why the package just turned up? Also to convince my parents

Also feel bad for him since hes paying out of his own pocket.

Thx

You did the crime. If you feel bad, don't do it again.

Trying to pay him anything is only going to make you look guilty, both to your parents and to UPS.

Just say you got it mixed up with another delivery or something

LMAO
I don't know why this is so funny.
A UPS driver will not have to pay out of his own pocket for a lost package. I don't know if he said that because you're young and he's fucking with you or you're trolling.

First of all sorry for my english.
I will report my experience with UPS.
About two years ago, first order on nike. Everybody told was easy af. I contact them to say DNA and told me to wait (all normal based on experiences on internet). Some days later the driver started to call. First i ignored than he came to my doorman with a receipt of the tracking telling he could lost his job and then he called me saying the same thing.
In the end, the day later i contacted both ups and nike to tell the package was finded because the doorman confused some packages...
So i trust the author of the post

edit: and he also stated that he had to pay from his pocket in case the investigation finished.

Interesting. I thought standard procedure was for them to have you sign that you haven't received the package for them to do an internal investigation. That was my experience with UPS when a driver had to come back a few times.

RE: Mad ups guy - Doomza - 06-09-2022

UPS drivers do not pay for lost packages out of their own pocket.

They will get sacked and charges pressed if they are thought to have stolen packages however.

It's probably the prospect of losing his job that has him mad when he would have remembered giving you the package.

DNA always works best when the driver has been lazy and left the package somewhere where it could be taken. If you collect it of a driver and then claim you didn't there's always a chance it can come back to you if there's an investigation.

Don't believe a word he says - the carrier company Is liable for all expenses.

Disregard him altogether and move on with your claim.

Guy who stole my package actually told me that too when he returned after I filed the package lost

I've also personally experienced It, and completely Ignored the driver.
