Experience with a failed Logitech SE - Fagottino89 - 06-08-2022

Hi everybody

I just wanted to share my recent experience with a failed se with Logitech.
I recently pulled out a good keyboard from them, after a very lengthy process with the Sn method and corrupted files.

Because I wanted to try how "easy" they were, I decided then to start a new SE with another item and SN method but without sending any corrupt file this time.
They asked me for a POP and a picture with Sn and my case number.

In the other case I just provided a fake POP so I just did the same here, without sending any corrupted file, while for the Sn and case number I photoshopped a picture that wasn't too badly made.
After I sent the requested documents I noticed that the rep turned very bad in his answers, and wasn't as good as he was before. Moreover I had to prompt them to have answers about my case, because they were replaying after many days.
At the end I got told that they could not verify my POP and they had to close the case with no other option available for me.

I don't know why they checked the POP this time and they didn't the other time, the only explenation I gave to myself is that the photoshopped SN wasn't too great and must have been noted.

Anyway, I hope you will have more luck!

i've been se'ing logitech regularly and here are my biggest takeaways:

- DNA works best, sometimes EB works but try sticking to DNA (especially on mice/keyboards/mics/headsets)
- Female replresentatives nearly always work while i havent had success with a single male one
- Chat is the best way to do it just make sure you use diff adresses and dif ips every time
- Always have a photo of the mouse and S/N, POP is rarley neccesary but the photos are the one thing that id say they absolutley require
- Make sure they know its urgent, there is no need for a sob story but every time I said i needed it ASAP the SE went by a lot faster.

Let me know if you need any more help or examples

Thanks for your answer, it is very helpful. I will think about hitting them with a DNA.
The nice thing of the SN method is that you have nothing to lose, while with DNA you may get your claim declined and lose the money. Do they investigate the case? Does it take long?

In the case of SN method the chat usually doesn't work because we discuss the issue and send the pictures via mail. When I tried to chat to another agent, having a ticket number already open, they always tell me to wait for an email.

Some claims are assessed at the rep's discretion, which Is what most likely happened In your previous case - the POP wasn't cross-checked.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

i've done S/N methods thru chat and it works perfectly fine as they keep the window open for a while.
