Herman Miller Refund Method - s0yb3ans - 06-05-2022

Hey everyone, I was looking to get a Logitech x Embody Gaming chair from Herman Miller. One method I thought of was just starting a return and doing ftid3. I also heard that LIT works as well but not entirely sure on that. Anybody got an idea on what method I could use? It would be shipped by fedex, package will be around 61lbs. Not sure if I would need to match weight if I did ftid3. Any advice would help, thank you.

Is it only one package? //tooshort

What type of verification will be required on delivery?

Check If they're responsible for loss of goods In transit.

I'm obviously referring to the DNA.

Yes only 1 big package, box size is 27" x 28" x 25", comes fully assembled.

Just a signature.

This is the only info I can find about loss of goods on their website:
"Risk of Loss: All purchased items are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. If your order is placed with a purchase order, the shipping terms of FOB shipping dock will supersede any shipping terms in your purchase order." No idea what that last sentence means.

I was thinking that, but would they possibly believe me if I told them a huge 60lb box failed to arrive?

You're purely claiming nonreceipt of goods, hence the weight Is not relevant - you haven't received It, regardless of what It contains and how heavy It Is.

I don't want to risk doing DNA on a 2k 60lb order, it's super uncommon and unrealistic. Yeah I could fake sign and all but I wouldn't wanna try it. I do appreciate your response though. Best thing I can think of is doing ftid3 but I know you're against it lol. I'll update if I start an order.

My comment Is based on personal experience - successful on multiple occasions with Items of similar nature to yours.

At the end of the day, the carrier (seemingly) failed to deliver your goods and that's what the claim Is solely based on. Be It 1Ib or 100Ib, the event can well and truly realistically take place. We're not talking about SEing a family home (so to speak), but rather goods that're hand-delivered and susceptible to human error during transportation.

It's perfectly understandable.

Go with what you're comfortable and most Importantly, confident with.
