Apple watch Amazon swap - holio2k - 06-04-2022
Ordered a Apple Watch 7 from Amazon and was planning to swap it with my 6 and return it. My 6 is a 44mm and the 7 is a 45mm. Anyone done anything similar? I have to many DNA and empty box on my account and already got the OFM mail. My account is otherwise pretty healthy with many legit orders. The watches are the same colour and almost impossible to see the difference. Anyone done anything similar?

Amazon Is pretty meticulous with checking open box returns, hence there Is a good chance they'll notice the Incorrect Item.

My plan is to ”open” it and reseal it do the swap

You mean with dry ice or the stolen under transit method. The weight of the whole package is 0,5 kg dimensions: 32 x 27 x 7 cm. I guess if it appeared to be opened up under transit and filled with package material the weight would easily come up to 0,5 kg.

The case weight of the Apple Watch Series 7 Is only 39 grams, so It can be boxed without substituting the weight.

If your return is checked, and Amazon checks for S/N, they will deny your claim happened to me with the SBM.
