out of warranty gpu - BlueDemon - 05-22-2022

I have an RTX 2070 I picked up off ebay a while ago, it recently kicked the dust and has been replaced.
I checked MSI's website and it says it's out of warranty, could I fake a proof of purchase or use the corrupted file method? I'm guessing corrupted file would be a safer bet than faking?

The POP will most likely be cross-checked to verify the warranty.

You're better off using the corrupted file method.

Had some issues with the website not accepting the image but I emailed it over to them, They asked for it again so I resent it. Expect them to ask for a different format next.

Is there an update to how this SE went? I'm curious to know if the corrupted file was accepted, in the end.
