Apple One Time Exception - Turbando - 05-17-2022
Is it as simple as requesting it? If I make a claim saying my macbook is damaged and request it (it being the first time I do one obviously) will they just send me a new one?

True, but it seems easy to pull off?
The hard part is convincing the rep on skipping the return and/or making a successful FTID in case they won't budge and then find a way to convince them to ship a new one
