Paypal account standing - Blackltd - 05-17-2022

Hi all,

Quick question, I hope someone can help me a little more further.

I want to make an paypal claim for an item if the store will not help me with missing item from box method. Price range 2-3K. Its an small item around 100 Grams, mixed in an parcel with total weight of 2,8 Kg.

Paypal account is 8 years old, no cases in the past and total spending of around 22K last 3 years.

But my question is, will PayPal check the account standing and history? And ifso is the account in an good standing for this refund? (Or can i use this account for an even better refund?)
Thanks in advanceSmile

3k for 100gr? Are you buying cocaine?

I'd say your account is definitely in a good standing

Your PayPal account won't be the issue, it'll be that there's a tracking number showing the item's been delivered. The seller will win if they provide that to PayPal.

He's doing PEB though, with an untraceable weight, so if Paypal actually reads the claim it may work in his favour

I honestly wonder if PayPal "claim specialists" ever actually look into the cases. I had a package lost, carrier investigation came to the conclusion but because of the tracking alone it was denied. I had to get documentation from carrier to get a refund. I'll be following this thread, hopefully it's a success.
