Best Buy and GPU - michalsy5c - 05-13-2022 If I have a broken GPU (physically part of PCB but everything is there) and want to return to Best Buy in box that is same for that model and brsnd, do they check the seri@l on the GPU? If box is sealed, do they still open if return as unopen? Is the best bet returning online or in store? Any way of an out in case they do open, see damage and also see seri@l doesn't match? Thanks RE: Best Buy and GPU - mothered - 05-14-2022 Quote:If box is sealed, do they still open if return as unopen? For your reference, Apple predominantly checks sealed box returns with tech-based Items. In terms of Best Buy, If there's no signs of tampering/Inconsistencies with the packaging whatsoever, It will not give them reason to check the return. Quote:Is the best bet returning online or in store?Pertaining to In-store returns, hit them when they're Inundated with customers - late on a Thursday/Friday just before close of business. As such, they won't have time to thoroughly check the return. Quote:Any way of an out in case they do open, see damage and also see seri@l doesn't match?Say that you were In a rush, and mistakenly packed the Incorrect Item In the box. As to why It was resealed to perfection, you were concerned that an open/damaged box would void the refund, hence returned It In Its original state. |
