Amazon SE wrong item received - biqdiqman - 05-08-2022

When doing the wrong item received method, many posts have spoken about how they used/should use an item of similar weight bought from amazon to replace the actual item.
I bought AirPods Pro and I have a separate spare box (without the actual headphones).

Can I just use that box and some extra weight to send it back and get a refund or does the fake item need to be bought from amazon and go through their warehouse.

Any help is appreciated (:

The wrong Item must be purchased (In this case) from Amazon.

Would the barcodes not be the same or does Amazon keep track on the sns?
What if you bought an item off Amazon, got a warranty replacement for the item through the manufacturer and then returned to Amazon. Would they determine if wasn't from them?

In short, the wrong Item must be part of Amazon's Inventory.

As such, It obviously justifies It was purchased and dispatched from them.

Scanning the return.

The SKU will demonstrate It's a stock Item of theirs.

I have already received the order, can I buy an amazon item now and use that or does it have to be during similar times?

Also, how should I go about explaining the EB to whoever I'll be speaking to.

Purchase the wrong Item as soon as possible.

What I meant was the refund method, I don't actually have an empty box.

For the method, should I speak to someone at amazon and "complain" or do I just refund and send back an empty box?
If I should speak to someone, what do I say?
