Empty box jewelry ? - azizouma - 05-08-2022

Hello everyone,

I was thinking about doing empty box on jewelry items has it is pretty expensive and don't weight much.

Does anyone have experience doing that ? Is it kinda easy ? Doable with a fresh account ?

Do you have some website to recommend for EU ?

Maybe that it's gonna be difficult to hit a brand website directly has it is small team I guess ?

Smile

I would suggest using the EB method as jewelry is usually light. Make sure the weight is less than 120g and then you should be fine

What's the precise weight of the Item you have In mind?

Are there any transactions on the account?

It's not good practice to target retailers on a small scale.

I just wanted to highlight this. You will have better luck on larger companies anyways.

I was thinking about a ring or a bracelet. It would probably be something less than 40g.

If something not to expensive can be found on the website maybe one transaction a couple weeks before the order, but not if it the website is only high end products that cost a lot.

I meant hitting big brands websites (such as Cartier or Tiffany) instead of hitting third party website. You think a third party website would be easier ?

Perfect for the EB/missing Item method.

Yes, It's good practice to perform at least one transaction prior to hitting the SE.

Understood.

That's the correct approach.

It's Impossible to generalize.

I recently wrote a thread about that: fresh account and not that big of a business, as it only operates in Italy (Stroili Oro, let's say it's a medium-sized business).
My overall experience was totally positive but hey, different brands, different possibile outcomes!
I'd personally say to go for it, totally.
