Currys Sealed box - WLT17 - 05-05-2022 So, a month after returning my iphone order to currys. They carried out 2 investigations as my parcel was missing. Was promised a refund by 1 agent about a week ago. Now they have sent me an email saying they have received the wrong item. Im guessing they opened it. What do i do now? I think i may push and say it cant be my fault as it was obviously out of my hands for so long, not sure how long it will take to get a refund though. Any suggestions welcome. RE: Currys Sealed box - Leonidas76 - 05-05-2022 Did you use the sealed box method? If so then you can claim that you simply returned what you received. It doesn't matter that they have received the wrong item, because you clearly did not touch it. Look at this thread for details : https://www.socialengineers.net/2022/03/beginners-sealed-box-method.html. Furthermore, tell them that this process is taking way too long, I assume you have the transcript saved from the employee, if not make sure to do so in the future. Show them the transcript and push the narrative that you have waited long enough. Don't get arrogant or impolite however, as that only works sideways. Do you think i should push the claim saying it can't possibly be my fault? If It was Amazon, I'd advise against It, but Currys Is a little easier to manipulate by saying you've returned exactly what they've dispatched. Were there any signs of tampering, no matter how small, with the resealed box? Alternatively, It can be returned for a legit refund by saying you were In a rush, and mistakenly packed the Incorrect Item In the box. As to why It was resealed to perfection, you were concerned that an open/damaged box would void the refund, hence returned It In Its original state. |
