paypal limited account - 2ndround - 04-29-2022

Limited paypal accounts, now require proving the following:
  • Upload a photo id
  • provide proof of fulfilment
  • provide proof of purchase from your supplier
  • provide more information on your transaction
  • provide your website information

1 & 2) are easy.
3) is a bit harder, does anyone have experience with submitting these to paypal?
Did you submit a invoice or a receipt? Fake or real?
Does paypal follow up with the company and check the authenticity or are they mainly checking if the company exists and sells similar products?

Instead of providing evidence that you have physically bought the product yourself, there is a free text option.
That is to submit more information about the transaction, which is the same as request 4.

4) See above. I suppose the best chance of passing is to provide proof of ownership for point 3 and write more about the transaction in point 4.

5) self explanatory

Keen to get some feedback on this.

PayPal requests the said details for authentication purposes, so the answer to your question Is obvious.

First sale on the account (otherwise aged), probably the value triggered it as well.
Change in behaviour or something like that was described in the email.

Wonder how guys on fiverr for example can confirm functional invoices which are meant to pass the verification process.
Do you think that choosing the more information about this transaction is a red flag for paypal?

Seen several comments across other forums where paypal seem to be very flexible and understanding that the seller did not have all of the required documents. Which seems hard to believe.

I highly doubt It.

You're simply viewing the transaction details.

PayPal Is pretty strict when It comes to requesting and verifying documents, so I doubt that's the case.

To clarify about choosing more information about this transaction. It is one option out of three, the other options include providing either an invoice or a receipt for paypal. With the choosing more information choice, there is a free text box as well as an option to add a document but you can submit it without a document. So all in the all the easiest option.

Understood.

It's a form of verification, so provided It's filled out correctly, there won't be any Issues.

I'm also surprised. It doesn't happen very often.

The main thing Is, It's sorted.

yea, a couple of years ago, swim had a similar case and their cs insisted that they needed proof of supplier info, otherwise the account would remain limited.
