How to SE amazon when they require OTP? - rhinofino - 04-27-2022

I've never been able to work out how to SE Amazon when the delivery requires OTP, as you can't say DNA, you can't say wrong item delivered as the driver passes you the right items and verifies with OTP. Is FTID the best method with amazon for 2k-3k worth of items??

I know FTID is seen as bad here but I truly don't know how to SE amazon when the delivery requires OTP.

Claim the item was damaged and try to get a refund without return.

That wouldn't work as they would just ask you to send the item back. No way you can get a refund for an item worth 1k without sending it back lol

How does the driver know exactly what's enclosed In the package?

An OTP Is used to verify receipt of goods, and not the consignment's contents.

Wrong item still works, unless Amazon is sending you the item's original package with a label glued on it (which it kinda does, sometimes, unless you ask for a discreet package that hides the contents)
The box could contain anything, either your item or something totally different, mistakes happen

The driver doesn't but amazon support would say how could they ship an item in the wrong box, ie how can they ship a gaming pc (what I'm thinking of seing) as something else? Say its a different gaming pc, they would just ask for it ti be returned surely???

Well I'm thinking of seing a gaming pc, one of the expensive ones, so it might not come in orginal packaging say like an iPhone but surely if I get wrong item delivered they'd just ask for me to return it??

It's not your concern, so don't overthink It.

Errors In warehousing and manufacturing are Inevitable, and that's what makes the wrong Item received method so effective. Countless members on this board, have succeeded with the method against companies of all shapes and sizes - It pretty much speaks for Itself.

I, too, would be embarrassed at the thought of people knowing I use such devices, so I understand your concern
Pretty sure they do, they'd get stolen all the times otherwise
In fact, the only times I've had an item shipped in its own box with a label on it, were an hairdrier (weird, but whatever) and a huge 34" monitor, whose box had a handle and everything so no point putting it in another box
