DNA help!! - fasho1212 - 04-05-2022

So ordered a Nintendo switch from a larger retail store in Canada, wanted to dna but I missed the delivery and they left me a notification to pick it up at the post office at a certain time. Will picking up the package from the post office ruin the dna? This was Canada post by the way.

Yes, as you are going to collect it, you cant say you didnt receive the parcel if you go to get it.

An alternate option would be Wrong Item received, where you buy a product of an identical/very close weight to the switch from a different account, and say that you received that instead of the switch, then you can return it and get the refund for the switch.

Will your ID only be viewed on collection, or a copy taken and stored on record?

I am in a different country, but from experience, if manipulating the situation well enough, you may still use this method successfully.

One example is ordering another item of low value, waiting for it to arrive and purposefully missing the delivery. Go down to the post office, pick up both items, call the retailer and DNA it. When they confirm you picked it up from the post office and your ID way used, you have a solid story saying that you went to pick up several items but the nintendo switch was not there for pick up and you only collected the other items.

so used wrong item received since ID was needed, but twisted the method a little. Called said wrong items were sent, they asked me to send items back but unfortunately I am covid positive. Rep told me that was perfectly fine then created a case number for me. got an email asking for pics of what was in the box and packaging, had shoppers items laying around in the house so that's what was sent to them. now waiting on reply from customer care.

Hopefully they don't Identify the non-Inventory Items.

The problem Is, they don't belong to their very own Inventory - they weren't purchased from them directly.

Hopefully It will go unnoticed.

What I mean is that the items chosen are also sold online by the same retail store that is being SEd.

I understand that, but given the Items were not purchased directly from the store you're SEing, they're not part of their Inventory.

Essentially, If the return Is scanned or a stock count Is performed, they'd Identify that the Items were not picked, packed and dispatched by them.
