Zalando Refund - Houston F*ck Me - 03-20-2022
Hey guys,
Wanted some help for a refund on Zalando, here's the history :
- Placed order on 06.03.2022 with 11 items (no heavy like shoes, just sweaters and T-shirts) 520,40€.
- Order had to be delivered but bcz my friend wasn't home, it has been delivered to a pickup & go.
- My friend went to the place and had to show his ID and gave a fake signature (vertical line).
- He didn't open the package which is at his home and has been delivered on 12.03.2022.
The account has no older orders.
I have a bit of experience in the refund thing, but never had to deal with ID and shit, what do you suggest us to do ?

We suppose she didn't take a picture, she just went in the back store to pick up the package with the ID in hand.

There's no evidence to conclude It was given to the correct recipient, hence the DNA Is good to go. Just make sure there's no CCTV cameras. In terms of your comment below, does the account have any transactions?

Hey, thanks for your answer Mothered !
It is very unlikely that she took a picture of the ID, but we can't be sure of this. As of the CCTV, my friend had to stay out of the store and the girl took the package out of the store to give it to him. We're 99,99% sure that we cannot be seen by the indoor CCTV if there is any.
The account doesn't have any transaction except this one.

Hey mothered, thx for your answer !
I went to the drop point (bcz my friend didn't have the b*lls to do it), they have CCTV which can see outdoor, so I conclude that he has been seen when he took the package. It supposes it can clearly be seen that he gave the ID and took the package. Plus, the store uses a special phone (a kind of scanner) which they use to check the ID and give the info to the shipping company.
The DNA and wrong person method can't be used. Any idea ?

You've ordered 11 Items In total, so depending on weight, you can use the partial/missing Item method on a few Items (but don't overdo It) or the wrong Item received on just the one - perhaps the most expensive.

Hey mothered, thanks for your answers.
So we went for the partial method which worked pretty well. We called the center and told the rep that 2 articles where missing, then he told us to fill out a sworn statement, so we saved 200 on 500 bucks which is not that bad.
I just wanted to know what would I had to do if the delivery went well ? I mean if the postman called my friend to come and take the package, isn't the call a proof of reception ?

Sorry to jump in - but what is sworn statement? I am planning on doing partial method as well with Zalando so I'm wondering what it is all about. Is there any risk about signing it?
