Little help with Amazon CPU SE - masterczulek19 - 03-10-2022 Hey everyone, I've been looking into different methods of SE'ing for a week now and done plenty of research, I got the theory all up in there in my head and I finally decided to try it for real. Now here is where the challenge comes into place, originally I wanted to use the empty box method on a 700$ CPU as it's light enough to not be registered, I ordered it and decided to check out how the packaging looks just in case I was to use the sealed box method and the big surprise is... You can totally see the CPU through the plastic window on the side of the box ! That kinda sucks I thought but I won't be discouraged by such a thing, now I would like to to ask for an opinion as to what method would be the best, DNA might be an option although the item will be collected from a local pick up point and it WILL require a OTP. My second best idea is to just box it and see how that goes but I'm feeling kind of sceptical about the fact that you can see the item through packaging. So here is my question, what would a seasoned SE'er do in my case ? Thanks for help in advance and also here is some additional info regarding the package - 4 x 4 x 0.6 cm; 79.38 gr. RE: Little help with Amazon CPU SE - Nabeshin - 03-10-2022 If the whole package is under 120gr, you can still use the EB method, the package you received was basically empty, no box, no CPU RE: Little help with Amazon CPU SE - mothered - 03-10-2022 Quote:You can totally see the CPU through the plastic window on the side of the box !What's the combined weight of the CPU & Its packaging? When it comes to returning it I will send it inside an additional box, what I'm worried about is workers claiming that they clearly saw the item during packing process which could make things rather difficult for me. If so, the CPU was (apparently) stolen In transit while on Its way to the company, so the warehouse picking & packing team has no relevance whatsoever.
