EB on Amazon.es - SpainAmbassador - 03-09-2022

Hello everyone!

I was planning to do an EB on Amazon.es, since I'm from Spain, and I wanted to get some feedback before I do anything.

My idea is to get a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (10 grams according to Amazon), and Galaxy Buds 2 (5 grams).

So in terms of weight I think I'm in the clear, right? Assuming both come in the same package, which they should.

I have an aged account from a few years ago where I made a few orders, so I'm planning on using it.

What bothers me is that a few months ago my friend bought a dlsr camera from Amazon.es and they asked him for a OTP. The order was around 700€ for reference.

So my order would come to 450€, and I don't know if they'd ask me for an OTP, but I really don't wanna deal with that.

In the case that I do have to provide OTP, is there an easy way of getting the refund?

And if I don't, then the EB for the two things should work, right? Just want to confirm that.

Are you planning to claim both Items are missing?

An OTP has no relevance to the EB/missing Item method.

Well, yes, since both are under 120g combined. Does that sound greedy? I could definitely do it in separate orders, even if I had to wait a couple months in between. I just wanted to get feedback on that. What's your recommendation?

I'm open for suggestions on the best approach for these two items.

While on the topic, I also want the Samsung Galaxy S22, but being over 1k€ I understand it's a completely different story for a refund. So I'm okay with doing the watch and the headphones for now.

Also, just for future reference, try checking out the items, if there's an OTP involved you'll have a yellow banner on the final page before the payment, so you'll always know in advance if it can DNA'd easily or not

I strongly suggest to SE only the one Item.

Given you've ordered only the two Items, the probability of a picking & packing error on both and sending an empty consignment thereafter, Is slim.

For your reference, an OTP only applies to the DNA method.

Thanks for the tip! I checked and there is no OTP for the watch or the headphones, but there is for the phone.

I would love to! I just don't know how to do it. The phone isn't available on Amazon.es yet, but I checked if a similar phone would have OTP, and it does.
I'd definitely try to SE it with some guidance! Maybe a different store? I know the Samsung store would ship it here, but I'm not familiar with how they work.

Opt for another method with the phone.

To name a couple, the sealed box and the wrong Item received.

To be on the safe side, perform at least one legit purchase (any value will do) and hit the SE 4-5 weeks later.

As mentioned above, there are other methods available.

If you're not well-acquainted with a given store, that's when you'd need to research It, Inclusive of the carrier that will be servicing the delivery.

As such, an Informed decision can be made with the choice of method.

Update: The headphones are out for delivery!

Just to confirm, when I receive them I just contact Amazon.es and tell them that the package I received was empty, right?

Package as in:
a) Whatever box/envelope where Amazon puts the headphones. So no Samsung box inside.
or
b) The actual Samsung box. To clarify, to say that there are no headphones inside the sealed Samsung box.

Just wanna confirm that before I contact them today.
