Elden Ring Already Flooded with Cheaters - Oni - 03-07-2022
If PCGamer is writing an article about cheaters in a game, then the problem is bad. So far players have been advertising the use of Cheat Engine and Ebay sales for runes/armor have been popping up. Since it's not really an MMO and items won't improve a player's skill, it probably won't affect the average player.

Well, it's good to know that Easy Anticheat is just as useless as I suspected. It only took less than a week for cheaters to show up just as all of the other souls games.
I guess it's good that I prefer offline or co-op to multiplayer invasions. I got tired of them after playing enough Dark Souls III.

Easy Anticheat is a criminally bad way to protect copyright material from cheaters. Also, you don't even need cheats for this game. There is a way to get a high DPS weapon/armor set about an hour and change into the game, that doesn't even require killing anything.
Spoiler alert:
It allows you to kill enemies that exist in endgame such as Astel, Naturalborn of the Void with two to three swings of a flame blade. Essentially a glass cannon build, but very easy and very effective.

Was gifted the game and promised to give it a solid run. There's actually a fair amount of early-game rune farms, as well. I'm not someone that is a huge fan of Souls-type games, but I've had fun just screwing around.

No doubt, the anticheat has been rendered useless at this point. People are selling max runes and armor sets for much less than the price of the game. Not really an MMO, so cheaters are only screwing themselves.
