What kind of information can workers handling your return see about you? - Sutfnabor - 02-20-2022

When using the sealed box method on say an expensive thousand dollar phone, would the returns handler check your purchase history?

If the phone box looked perfectly new but the amazon package was opened and closed again, and the account was 3 months old with around 6 purchases on it, ranging from 10 to 300$, and the 300$ item was legitimately refunded, would the amazon worker have any reason to open and inspect the phone?

Oh and most importantly, will they be able to see other accounts which I have used the same info on (everything from address to bank details)? Or only the account I'm making the purchase on?

It's usually done by the accounts/Invoicing department.

Can't say for sure.

It's based on the employee's sole discretion.

Amazon Is very good at detecting multi-accounting.
