So I tried following a tutorial, but didn't really do the full tutorial.
There are probably many things wrong, if someone wants to lead me to the right direction, or give me a full, clear "how to" on this, that would be great.

Not bad, but you obviously have alot still to learn.
Such as text, sharpening, etc.

My second look at this signature has also brought me to realize you should position the render more wisely. You do not want big empty spaces in the signature, takes away from the actual design.
