SE GPU method - subliminal1284 - 02-15-2022

I just ordered a gpu from Amazon (sold and shipped by Amazon) I was originally planning on using the DNA method but Amazon delivered the GPU via UPS and required a signature. UPS came to deliver the package today but I intentionally did not answer with the hopes that the driver would just leave it, he did not and it now appears it will be dropped off at a UPS store location for pickup. Since the driver did not just leave it as I had hoped I’m thinking DNA might not be the best choice now and that and empty box, sealed box or wrong item method would work better now. I have had my account since 2011 with hundreds of orders and I have prime. I have heard UPS can be kind of crazy to deal with if an investigation is opened so I’m Open to suggestions and ideas.

Don't pick it up, get a refund and try again?

Unfortunately it’s out of stock and not likely to be lucky enough to catch one in stock sold and shipped by Amazon anytime soon.

May I ask why you didn't fake sign It?

A photo ID will be required to pickup the package at a UPS access point.

If a copy of the ID Is not taken (only viewed), the DNA may still be possible.

In terms of the EB/missing Item method, what's the precise weight of the GPU?

As for the sealed box method, Is there a factory seal and/or clear film securing the box? Also, can the GPU be viewed externally without opening It?

I didn’t fake sign it because I had heard UPS is pretty strict when it comes to investigations and will send the driver back to the house asking questions and I really didn’t want to have to deal with all that extra drama.

As far as shrink wrap I’m not sure, also not sure about the weight either as I don’t have it in hand yet, currently out of town and will have to have my gf pick it up.
I do have an idea for a SE that I think I’m going to try that if I’m successful should have no investigation at all.

I understand your position.

If you had've gone through with the fake signature and persevered with the Investigation, there would've been a very high chance of a favourable outcome.

These are the things you need to research and Identify, before even thinking about using the said methods.
