ASOS Refund - ceya - 02-15-2022

Im in USA i  have an ASOS order thats 638.17 with10 items.
i didnt notice but i had ordered 2 of the same items for 2 items.
I was going to DNA whole order after 48hrs  but now thinking on doing partial and say i received 2 items and didn't receive the 8  i was supposed to receive and return the 2 after refund.
Any tips on how i should proceed with it?

edit
3 pairs jeans(2 extra same item)
3 shirts
3 hoodies (2 extra same item)
not sure on the weight

That's 9 Items, not 10.

It's pretty ambitious claiming 8 of10 Items were missing.

Judging by the Item descriptions, any combination will be too heavy for the partial method.

Ive did something similar with nike but with socks and claimed 2 pairs shoes and 2 shirts as missing it worked thought id try with ASOS

Its being shipped by lasership which i never had a shipping carrier before only UPS and fedex so im a bit iffy on that as well. ill figure out weight when it gets here today
OR i may return all items and re order on same acc again but with the desired items and do DNA. think that would mess up the refund?

Do note that ASOS has CCTV cameras monitoring their movement of stock.

ASOS Is meticulous with returns and claims, so It may raise suspicion If you return, reorder and Immediately DNA thereafter.

It's best to hit the DNA on a separate account.

Ill may just DNA the whole order waiting on delivery today and will probably do refund today or wait 48hrs.
But if i were to do partial wouldnt 5 items arrived and 5 missing be good or 4 arrived and 6 missing. Will be doing missing on the lighter items like the shirts and 1 or 2 jeans

I have had fairly ease recently with Asos, order was worth less though. They asked questions regarding Can you confirm you didn't receive the package, have you checked your neighbours, have you checked your 'safe spots' and have you checked the postal office.

Just delivered today about to think on how im going to execute this refund. Either DNA and go through BS than refund or try to play it safe with PArtial half and half it came in a big bag that looked easy to rip as well

Ultimately It's your call, but I'd personally opt to DNA It.

If a signature Is requested, obviously fake It but be sure It's somewhat legible (readable).

As such, when the name Is checked, It will not correspond with yours, hence "you" did not sign the delivery.
