iPhone 13 Pro Max SE idea - Fguinan1 - 02-14-2022
Hi I was thinking of a trying to SE affordablemobiles.co.uk. They are a phone contract company with refurbished iPhones, they have 0 pound contracts with any phone you can imagine. The main carrier they use is DPD and I’ve heard they can be a pain with a DNA claim. You have to sign on delivery so I was thinking of fake signing the package and making sure he doesn’t get a picture inside my door way. As the iPhone is valued a lot. Would you think I’d have any complications, possibly a police report? The delivery driver coming to my house? (Not Ideal), the claim being denied in any way. The account is going to be pretty fresh.
Would love to hear some options.

Also check If an early termination fee (on the contract) Is payable by the buyer.

Obviously sign with a fake name, but be sure It's somewhat legible. As such, when the name Is checked, It will not be associated to yours, hence you did not sign the delivery.

There's no cause for concern - It's simply required for administration purposes to move forward with the claim.

After buying my iPhone 13 from this company, I encountered a cellular problem that the cellular customer service team could not even solve. I was saddened by this outcome, but recently, a friend advised me of a virtual phone number. With it, I can make and receive calls for free, use SMS messages, monitor the quality of calls, and record conversations. [link redacted] features are very useful for business people who often work with clients.

Do it with amazon or apple - much safer. One other thing you could try is ordering it from a phone carrier on a plan. Just DNA it and ask for a replacement, then return the replacement or if the replacement isn't instant tell them to cancel it all together, you just do it in store. Best with a phone provider you been using.

Sorry for the late reply’s. I concluded as the phone company doesn’t directly state that they cover me for lost in transit on a 0 pound contract then I won’t be going with the SE I also found out that the company can be quite hard to contact about problems and seen to not answer so, i would probably have to take it up with my bank which is not ideal. Think I’m just going to go with Amazon but my account is 3 years old with only a couple orders and I’ve recently performed a SE on there. so I’ll take a break from Amazon.

I made one in 2019 for something under 50 quid. And that’s about if for legit transactions but I SEd a military bag for just over 100 a couple weeks ago.
