SE fun exercise - Jideau - 02-11-2022

Was bored in my commute and thought of this. Perhaps someone will be successful at this little game.
I will role-play X company Customer Representative and you must try to get a refund in the following scenarios ranging from easy to difficult.
You are free to take on three but recommend focusing on one only.

Scenarios:
a. You have claimed DNA on a package you picked from the post office with signature required. How would you proceed to circumvent company policies and get a refund?
b. You decide to try that new method of UPS instant (Damaged + refused delivery) but you picked up the package. How would yo go about convincing the company you refused the package and must get a refund?
c. When preparing for the dry-ice method, you failed to account for atmospheric conditions and a mix of bad luck and climate made your ice turn into gas. Once the delivery partner showed up, the box was empty and the weight upon scanning differs from what you were told to return. The company is not refunding because the information they have on weight indicates a discrepancy and suspect of fraud. How would you proceed?

Man, sorry you didn't get any reply in here, sounded like a nice idea

About scenario A, I'd demand them to show me the signature, then complain it isn't mine.. even if I did sign with my real one, I can never make 2 look the same so good luck proving it's actually mine! Thing is, the post office probably checked my ID so not sure where it's going from there, I'd have dumped the package so it gets returned and I'm refunded, better luck next time
Scenario B, now that's new to me, is it a UPS-only thing? Care to tell me more about it?
Scenario C, tell them I applied the return label on the wrong package and/or forgot to put the item inside, give up on boxing since they'll probably check twice on that return, again better luck next time
