Has anyone ever tried to SE Steam Hardware - xoraplag - 02-10-2022 Hi Guys, I would like to test the Steam VR glasses. However, they are very expensive. Hence my question if anyone has ever tried to get the vr-glasses or other Steam hardware. Is this easy or does Steam actually care about refunds? I think with a DNA or a boxing you could get away with it. The question is also whether Steam can tell afterwards if I'm using the hardware. Does anyone know about this? RE: Has anyone ever tried to SE Steam Hardware - dontgiveafuck - 02-11-2022 steam will definitely track the device upon DNA attempt too, best bet is buy from resaler or something and hope they don't have capability to view SN info and usage RE: Has anyone ever tried to SE Steam Hardware - xoraplag - 02-11-2022 Ok if Steam tracks the device it is actually impossible anyway. I think the package would come via DHL. Generally, with all carryers that delivered to me so far, only rarely times the signature was required. With a reseller it could go but I would also not damage a private person. Since I prefer to buy something else and then sell that. |
