UPS logging in weights lower than 120grams. - BetterThings2 - 02-09-2022

Hey everyone, just noticed today that UPS was able to log in a weight way lower than 120 grams in the tracking info, and was wondering will EB method be dead because of that? Would love to hear you guys thoughts on that.

What's the precise weight and what were the contents on the consignment?

The precise weight 1.6oz which is 45grams. It's just some chapstick. This a non se purchase just something I need. But it made me wonder could future eb attempts be thwarted by that.

What's the weight of the chapstick? I'd assume It wouldn't be anything greater than 5 grams.

Also, did you order a single or a pack of multiple chapsticks?

It was a single, and they had no weight recorded on the website.

I've just checked on Amazon, and there's a consistent weight range (for one stick) of 3.40 grams-4.25 grams, Both those are Incremented (after the decimal point) as milligrams.

The 45.0 grams on the tracking Is the shipping/gross weight and Is a flat figure, which tells me It's been rounded from another recorded weight.  By how much, I couldn't say but It's not the correct listing. No doubt, we'll need to keep an eye out for similarities with UPS.

Thanks for bringing It to every SE'ers attention.
