Sorry for late reply mother…Been real busy lately.*Note: saving amazon for last* What makes the selection difficult is when looking at these phone brand companies (from China), I noticed that they offer the following service: send phone in so they can fix it, then they send it back fixed. Of course I don’t have the phone so it would be hard to follow through with it. I could say I threw it away because it cut my finger and it was abnormally hot, however, I don’t think that plan would work. Also, most of the Chinese companies state that they don’t support United States, because they haven’t “Officially released it yet” when on AliExpress they obviously sell the phones to US(and yes, the AliExpress store is their official store). So what it comes down to is me looking for a US phone company to SE. So boxing method with Dry ice would be a viable method for SEing Amazon and Apple for apple products . Would just need to scale to exact weight and dimensions correct? @mothered RE: Any Phone brands for SE'ing? - mothered - 02-04-2022 (02-04-2022, 02:58 AM)Thomasdecker Wrote: So boxing method with Dry ice would be a viable method for SEing Amazon and Apple for apple products .Dry Ice can be used with any Item of reasonable size & weight, but whether It's needed, obviously depends on the product weight. It's used against the carrier, so you'd be focusing on their movements In transit when calculating the sublimation time. Yea cause I just ordered a MacBook Pro from Amazon.com US and was wondering wt I should do between DNA and dry ice RE: Any Phone brands for SE'ing? - mothered - 02-04-2022 (02-04-2022, 10:05 AM)Thomasdecker Wrote: Yea cause I just ordered a MacBook Pro from Amazon.com US and was wondering wt I should do between DNA and dry iceThe wrong Item received and the sealed box method are also suited, with the latter (sealed box) being the better of the two. So you have a number of methods to consider. In terms of the DNA, Is an OTP required on delivery? With dry Ice and given the weight of the MacBook being somewhat heavy, you'd need to accurately calculate the sublimation time. |
