However, the OP has personally uploaded and contributed the tool, hence the need to provide a VT report.

The file was taken down before I could even import it to my malware box lol.

It would've been Interesting to see the results of your analysis.

The nature of the detections on the VT scan, can be Interpreted either way - false positives or perhaps an element of malicious behavior.

Likely that won't be the last time someone tries to slide an infected binary resembling Open Bullet, Anomaly, etc.
I would have been able to show the difference between false positives I've discovered in the original before, and the one that skids normally release.
But they usually are containing packed or obfuscated malware. I have found several in the wild that are ransomware. That was fun.
