Got it - jGmYP4 - 01-04-2022 I bout the laptop I set my eyes on (dell inspiron 15 5515) . The ups deliveryman did not ask for a signature but my residence hosts cameras so I'm going to try and find a decent SE that can work. If you guys have any recommendations while I go look it would be appreciated. (cost was around $690) (weight is around 3.70lbs) RE: Got it - mothered - 01-05-2022 Quote:The ups deliveryman did not ask for a signatureWas It left at the doorstep, or handed to you? The reason im not going with the wrong item received would be due to it coming in a specifically shaped package that resembles that of a laptop. I could say that I was shipped a different kind of laptop but then I would have to send something back and I believe they would check it... no?(01-07-2022, 04:52 AM)jGmYP4 Wrote: since im looking for a replacement im most likely going to try the disposed of faulty item method. You're also entitled to a replacement with the wrong Item received method. RE: Got it - ConcernedCitizen - 01-09-2022 @jGmYP4 How do you know they'll check the contents? If you ship the same weight and pack it according to how they shipped it to you in a way identical to the original packaging - you won't have to worry they'll open the return. No? Issue is I have forgotten what it looked like before; that's why I cant repackage it exactly as I saw it. With the wrong item received method tho, I believe I need to prepare some things before I even purchase my item. In terms of how I know they might check the box? It just a guess. :/ @mothered Is there a specific site I can go to find out what are the tech supports hours? I'm trying to see if I am able to call them right as their shift ends so I can hit when they are most tired. I tried looking at job listing sites but they didn't show the hours. That's why It's crucial to purchase something (on a different account) that's part of their Inventory - they'll assume they've picked, packed and dispatched that Instead of the Item that was originally ordered/purchased. For your reference, the wrong Item doesn't need to be a like-for-like product. |
