Tomtop Paypal refund - Lemoy - 01-01-2022

Hello, I ordered a few 3D Printers over Tomtop and used Paypal for paying them. They already arrived and there is everything correct on the shipment tracking URLs. Do I have any chance to get a refund over paypal? It‘s already been around 3 weeks and the articles were shipped from czech republic to germany.
Does anyone have experience with TomTop refunds? Thanks in advance.

It looks like TomTop has some sort of customer service being a phone number & an email. In your situation considering its been 3 weeks you could simply say you was on holiday / visiting family or something and that you haven't been home for 3/4 weeks and when you arrived today you was excited to test it out but it wasn't anywhere to be found (DNA Method). You could either email them about this / call them but I think it would be better if you did it through PayPal, so yeah I'd just open a claim with them and claim it never arrived and say you was on holiday/whatever excuse you want to use. Keep us updated on what happens OP!

Well it was delivered over DHL. When it says delivered but it wasn‘t delivered (dna) if they contact DHL and ask if they have been delivering other packages successfully they would get a positive response. So is it really a good idea?

What was the delivery like, did you personally sign for it? Was it left unattended on the front porch? Was an OTP involved?

There was no OTP involved. Well, there is sometimes a guy delivering at DHL we do know as family and sometimes another guy. They‘re not asking to sign, they put packages in the entrance of the appartment house (you need to open them the door over the entry phone) so they don‘t meet you personally. My family accepted the package, not me personally. And im sure they didn‘t sign for them.

If I'm understanding you correctly, there was no OTP, no signature nor you even went in view of the delivery guy. That considered, DNA is still perfectly suited

Yup. So the value of all 3 packages in total would be around 650€. Do the delivery drivers get involved by this? And is there any probability they‘re going to contact us?

Did all 3 packages come in one big parcel? Or was they individually delivered? And considering it was weeks ago, Its highly improbable and even in the case they do come to your house the courier has no right to set foot on your property and ask questions, nor are you obligated to answer them. So I really wouldn't worry about that.

They were all 3 seperated. Well I don‘t want that my family gets involved into this and I don‘t know who delivered the articles at that day, but we know a guy who works at DHL who is not always delivering. There are also other guys, I don‘t want to harm him.

Would Paypal start investigations with DHL or ask for PR?

In that case, its extremely unlikely that 3 separate parcels didn't arrive to the destination, however if it all arrived in one delivery (which I presume it did) you can still say that you was out when it was arrived/on holiday/whatever excuse and that when you got home you checked everywhere, with family and neighbours and that it was no where to be found.

And it all depends on TomTop not DHL, If TomTop starts an internal investigation with DHL they may well ask for a PR considering the value of the items, or they may just refund you straight away as its been 3 weeks (But the courier who delivered this will not get harmed as it is, supposedly, an isolated event and plus its 3 weeks after it "arrived" your complaining, and therefore how could it be the courier's fault?)

I still think a DNA is viable, on the TomTop account do you have any prior orders? Or was it a fresh account?
