apple watch sealed box method amazon - Merc25 - 11-23-2021
Hello all, after browsing the SE forum I decided to have a go myself.
Ordered a laptop, AirPods and apple watch from amazon within the same order. The missing item method was used for the laptop and worked perfectly.
I am now left with the apple watch (series 7) and AirPods, attempted FTID and it got denied. I don't have an issue just returning the items and taking the L but I am very curious about the sealed box method for the apple watch. Has anyone attempted this and if so how did you get access to the watch without damaging the packaging? I assume I would have to replace the watch with something of the exact weight.

Congrats on the laptop, although a missing item of that size will hardly go unnoticed. I'd wager your account is under surveillance, even though they granted you the refund.
FTID, as you've noticed, is not a reliable method at the best of times.
Before moving onto a new SE, lay low for a while and do 5-10 legit orders on the account. Otherwise you're risking getting banned.
On a clean account, the sealed box method will work for the Apple Watch. If the item weighs less than 100-150g, missing item would also be suitable. And DNA of course. As for how to open/reseal the box, check out Youtube's unboxing videos and work backwards from there. Like mothered says on socialengineers.net, you have all the time you need to break into the box. So be slow and meticulous and you'll get in (and out) without a trace.

Once again I appreciate all the helpful information, as my Amazon account is most likely under investigation I’ve decided to just return the items and order the Watch from another store. Most likely using the missing item method.
