It's a pretty big step for your very first SE.

That aside, Lenovo will ask the monitor be returned, so your main focus Is circumventing their request.

The Issue when using the serial number method, Is that It's very limited to the availability of traditional methods.

One way to bypass the return, Is to use the disposed of the faulty Item method, however It's an arduous and lengthy process that requires a great degree of perseverance and pushing reps to their limit.

If the warranty covers their Advanced Exchange service, whereby a replacement Is dispatched and you have 15 days to return the (seemingly) defective unit, a drop house should be used and a VCC to avoid being billed for non-return of goods. Obviously, the SE Is done on a fake account to begin with.

Did you get In touch with them at any stage to ask where your claim stands?

Did not push it, as I have another Legion Se ongoing on same account accidently, so I think it was my mistake too

Understood.

Right or wrong, every SE Is a learning experience, so take It as a positive.
