Call Of Duty Review. - Printable Version

Hey everyone well i extremely bored so I've decided to write a huge review on the Campaign and Multi-player of the whole call of duty series.

I'm going to start from the first call of duty game i bought.

Call of duty 4 - The Campaign on this game which was what brought me into the whole call of duty era, i used to spend day after day on the campaign trying to complete it get all the achievements stuff like that, i think when i bought the game i was either 10 or 11, but then the day i completed the campaign i decided to go on multi-player. Multi-player was what really got me addicted to console gaming, on call of duty 4 i met so many new people who I am still friends with till this day forward. I have known people who i met on that game for 5-6 years now! Literally my closest friends were met on a console ahah. Anyways, the multi-player was very good this led me to buy all the call of duty's after this one. Call of duty 4 has died out now though whenever you go on it, in every lobby there is at least 1 person hacking it with god mode or various other mods.

Call of duty 5 ( World at War ) - The campaign on this game was also very good, you got to play as Russians and the US and other people. Not only was the campaign good they added secret ' Death Cards ' which give you another bonus to look for while you was trying to complete the level, this made it a lot more fun. With the secret death cards you could add bonus things such as ' Paintball Mode ' while you where playing co-op campaign, there was also a lot more death cards but i cannot remember them all. The multi-player on the game was also good, they had a lot of old fashioned guns which made the game slightly more realistic, like call of duty 4 you still had only 3 killstreaks of which you couldn't change, on call of duty 5 the killstreaks were, UAV, Artillery and Dogs. The dogs was the best killstreak, you get a lot of dogs which come in and kill the opposing team.
Multi-player was not the best part of this game though, Treyarch decided to add new mode call Zombies, this led to the revolution of all the call of duty games, there was 5 different maps of which you could play and you could play as 4 different characters, there was 4 maps which didn't have anything unique each had perk machines and buyable weapons of the wall, but the 5th map ' de riese ' this had the pack a punch, this was the start of something huge! The pack a punch upgraded your gun, added more bullets and increased the damage and gave it a cool looking camo, you could purchase all this for 5000 points. All in all call of duty 5 was the game which created the Zombie Revolution.

Call of duty 6 ( Modern warfare 2 ) - Call of duty 6 was my favorite out of the full series, the campaign was good apart from one sad part, the part when ghost died, Ghost got killed because the government turned against them because General Shepard was corrupt. Although the campaign was good the multi-player was amazing it was by far my favorite online game when i was younger. There was now a day guns and past guns both in the game, the game modes on this game was really fun to play with friends and others. They also added something new to the game, this was called ' Special Ops ' this was a single player or two player game mode where there was about 30 different levels of which you could get from 1-3 stars on 3 being the best 1 being the worst, 1 was for completing the level on normal, 2 hardened and 3 veteran. Call of duty 6 was by far my favorite game but now a days, it's full of kids trying to be the next ' Faze Clan ' all these kids annoy me now -.-

Call of duty 7 ( Black Ops ) - Hmm, this game kinda swung me both ways, the campaign is very weird and confusing because you are playing a mental person most of it, well that's all i can remember i think, the zombies on this game have been improved a lot since WAW, the weapons are a lot better there is some super weapons such as the ' Thunder Gun ' which blows mass amount of zombies away from you. Once again they have all the perk machines with a few new ones such as ' Dead shot ' and ' PHD Flopper ' both of these perks are new and very good. The Multi-player on this game was also quite enjoyable, you could edit your killstreaks to an option of about 20 others. You could also edit the color of your weapons and you could also edit a lot of your articles and attachments. Hm, all in all i really enjoyed this game.

Call of duty 8 ( Modern Warfare 3 ) - MW3, I never got round to finishing the campaign on this game i always got bored, so to me this was by far the worst campaign out of the COD series. Whereas the campaign wasn't that good the multi-player competed with it a little, the multi-player was mediocre i couldn't play it on my own because i'd get bored way to fast, but if i was with friends i could play it for a while, the thing which i enjoyed about it was the unique game modes such as ' Infected ' this was a very fun game to play which i could play for hours on end. They had also brought back ' Special Ops ' there was some new weapons, new missions and a lot more achievements to be earned on special ops. All in all this is my least favorite of every call of duty.

Call of duty 9 ( Black Ops 2 ) - Well this is were the Series has ended for now, this game was very very good in my opinion it got a lot of hate but i don't think it was that bad, the zombies was very good they released some insane maps with a lot of new features which are just amazing! The campaign on the game was also a very fun campaign to complete, you could be different people on the campaign, sometimes the good guys other times the bad guys, all in all the campaign was out-standing! The multi-player was also very good, they had some very good maps and they also bought a few maps back from black ops one. All in all i thought this game was brilliant and totally worth the buy!
