Issue with laptop - fire - 11-02-2021

So recently a friend of mine has a Dell Latitude 3330, and he connected 2 external monitors with hdmi and vga, but the laptop can only run one of them at once.

Windows detects the 3rd monitor, but labels it as inactive

any way to fix this?

I believe this may be the Issue - the laptop doesn't allow a connection to both (VGA & HDMI) ports at the same time.

How can I fix/bypass this?

The ports are clearly there, and windows recognizes it so there must be some workaround

Windows recognizes It, but It's not splitting the signal, therefore there's only a single output.

Disable the laptop monitor and see If both externals work.

I had a similar issue and i fixed it by disabling the GPU driver (indevice manager). And later on a gpu driver uodate fixed it

I have a few other Ideas, but first try what @PjdeP mentioned above.
