Adidas SE (PayPal question) - Black crusader41 - 11-01-2021 Hello all, once again thanks for all your help so far and thanks in advance for taking the time to answer this one. I recently placed an order for adidas about 830 USD with 7 items. I am in the midst of delivery receiving half the order today and the rest coming by the end of the week. When I checked out I used my PayPal as I usually do when SE’ing for an extra safety valve in case it fails. I was planning to use a refunder to do this order but now I’m questioning if that is even necessary. After checking my bank account where my PayPal draws out if I noticed that the funds had never been taken out. I checked my PayPal to see the message “authorization in progress” yet they still shipped me my order and all. Prior to this my checking acct (where my PayPal draws from) had the needed funds in it. Just this morning, about a week after placing the order, I transferred the funds out. My question is, should I put the funds back in the account to wait and see if it goes through? Leave the funds out of the account? Or put the funds in the account and contact adidas to see if they can put the charge through and proceed with the refunder. RE: Adidas SE (PayPal question) - Black crusader41 - 11-02-2021 Would I additionally need to get a new card to prevent future chargebacks or get a new PayPal or anything like that? RE: Adidas SE (PayPal question) - rgxcable - 11-02-2021 if you leave the funds out, you're going to need a new paypal. When that's been confirmed, the account will be debited. I strongly advise not to remove the funds - you will need to pay back what you owe. |
