Amazon Apple Watch EB Fail - police report requested - Dixxy095 - 10-29-2021

Tried my first claim on a clean account with 8 yrs transaction history. Apple Watch arrived and had to sign + provide the code they had emailed me. Because of this, claimed EB and not DNA. Was shut down immediately by saying I need to provide a police report, I can do this online with my local police region, but will it be worthwhile or should I take the L?

simply say that the officers at your local station said that a police report wouldn't be appropriate since the item arrived and you personally signed for it so the chances of theft are likely 0 and as a result it was likely an error on amazon's end or on apple's end

Good thought.

However, sometimes they still Insist on the report, just to provide evidence of where and why the officer deemed It Inappropriate.
