First SE on Amazon - loozey - 10-26-2021

Hello guys i'm from italy and i want to SE an iphone13 from amazon.it
This is my first time with amazon, in your opinion is better to try the "battery leak" or the "wrong item"?

RE: First SE on Amazon - PEDRO_PEDRO0 - 10-26-2021

If you already bought another product I would try wrong item. Otherwise i would do battery leak with corrupted video/photo or simply saying you disposed the phone.

Further to @PEDRO_PEDRO0's post and stating the obvious, you can also opt for the DNA method.

That's provided an OTP Is not required on delivery.

I don't know how it is in Italy but here in the UK, battery leak rarely works, they'll need all sorts of proof to even proceed with an investigation let alone refund/ replacement. And receiving "a wrong" item is dodgy, the weight will need to match the actual weight of the iPhone, and if you get away with that, I'm pretty sure their warehouses have CCTV that records what's been put in the package and again the weight is tracked throughout the whole shipping process from their warehouses all the way through to your door.
The best bet is to say DNA but even that isn't foolproof, if you can then do FTID or pay someone to do it for you as that's the safest option in imo, never had any issues doing so, way less bait as well.
But again you are from Italy so the policies might be a little different, just take my comment into consideration, the last thing you want is to be caught out.

The exact reason DNA doesn't always work is that amazon asks for a one time passcode on delivery to prevent this. That's why I keep saying FTID is the safest option.

It can be bypassed.

My post Is based on SE'ers who don't have the confidence or skill set to circumvent an OTP.

Yeh, I get that man, just trying to share what I know from experience so others can learn, and so they know what they're getting themselves into.
