FTID Question - smallgreyman - 09-21-2021 Hey, I read some about ftid. Let's say that I'm doing FTID changing recipient address. Company won't have the package and they see on tracking it's delivered but with FTID you're just sending a letter with no weight so why they won't check the weight of this package asking for example DHL? Every post service should deliver information about that. I feel like I'm missing something. Maybe they just don't weigh letters? Or how it works? RE: FTID Question - mothered - 09-21-2021 Quote:with FTID you're just sending a letter with no weight so why they won't check the weight of this package asking for example DHL?That's why the method Is flawed. Weights & dimensions are taken for record keeping and cost of freight and If they open an Investigation, they'll see that It's not the return they're expecting. Quote:Maybe they just don't weigh letters?Even If they don't, the consignment will be Identified by description at the service point and/or on the carrier's manifest. The success of the so-called FTID, relies on the laziness, mismanagement and Incapacity of companies/services to process returns accordingly. RE: FTID Question - smallgreyman - 09-21-2021 Thank you again for explanation. What about FTID with proper weight? This might have a better chance? I know it's still spinning around not reliable method but still chances might be higher> RE: FTID Question - mothered - 09-21-2021 (09-21-2021, 05:47 PM)smallgreyman Wrote: Thank you again for explanation.
