When I buy something from Amazon.de and the shipping is also from Amazon.de, then I get them an email where I can specify a storage location.
Since I plan to use the DNA method, this would be perfect, right? Or should I rather do without it? Which storage location does not matter or? Carport, in front of the door...
I would be grateful for an answer.

When you, as the buyer, select a safe place, you're responsible for loss of goods.

If Amazon left the package at a safe place solely at their discretion, then It was their decision, not yours. As such, they'd be held liable for loss of goods.
