Any ideas to make online class interesting?? Being for atleast 8 hours in online class is tough. What are the ways to make it interesting and engaging?

It's difficult to keep engaging the students for straight 8 hours of online class. Not only is it streneous for students, it is a challenge for teachers themselves. Occasional group activities, regular breaks other than meal breaks, question answer sessions will all help to create a good atmosphere for online education.

At end of my degree many of the classes were available online and I found I preferred it. Over the years I had many professors with monotone voices or thick accents. By reading the materials yourself, there's less dissonance.

It depends on what you are trying to achieve. Adding interactivity can solve boring classes.

Personally, If the subjects are of Interest to me and something that I wish to pursue as a career, I'd have no Issues studying for 8 hours per day.
I spend double that time on my computing tasks as a hobby, without any degree of boredom or disinterest.

depends if your the one conducting the class or if you're the one learning. For students, I think the best way to make online classes interesting and engaging is to fully interact with your professors and mates, and also a snack at your side wont hurt.
