Body Wrap? - ZillaBoom - 07-16-2013

Do body wraps actually work? I can see them having some merit, as they make you sweat, but can this & a good diet actually help you loose weight? I'm thinking of trying it.

I have:
  • Cling Film ( industrial size )
  • Heater ( will be aiming at me to aid sweating )
  • Electric Blanket ( again to aid sweating )

Has anyone ever tried it? Iv wrapped myself once when I went for a bike ride & I must have produced like x3 more sweat.

All goes well until you overheat and pass out from heat stroke, or exhaustion. I have never tried to wrap myself in anything during a workout lol.

Just wear some heavy clothes like a sweatshirt and sweat pants.

I decided to give this a shot anyway Tongue about 2 mins after posting this thread I put my electric blanket on my bed with a towel on it & set it to max, the I got the cling film & wrapped my belly/chest & both my legs ( I have big thighs, lol ). the I got my heater & pointed it at my chest while I lay in bed watching smallville.

About 5 minutes into doing this my face was pouring with sweat, I didn't really think I could manage it, but now, 40 minutes later I'm sweaty as hell but I managed to get through it, lol.

I am thinking of making a blog/thread diary ( the thread diary would be on DZ ) about how I get on with my diet, exercise & body wrapping, what do you think?

Just be careful doing. Would love to hear how it works out for you though.

This really just seems like a bad idea lol.

This is not the ideal way to go about losing weight.
