amazon se - possible misunderstanding? - Madmanlugo - 07-25-2021 So I came back to amazon after a little break and decided on a simple missing item se. I had the luck (or misfortune) of being connected to one of the indian fellows, but I think they probably got the issue wrong. I tried to make it clear that I have the item's box, but no the item itself, but I have a strong feeling they understood that I don't have the item at all. Now that would be a problem because it would clearly show on the consignment. Is there a chance to clarify the situation with their internal team once they contact me or is this SE as good as failed? RE: amazon se - possible misunderstanding? - Roadman - 07-26-2021 It's always good to try live chat once again if you're uncertain. Are you referring to the box and Its contents? RE: amazon se - possible misunderstanding? - Madmanlugo - 07-26-2021 mothered Wrote:Are you referring to the box and its contents? Yes, they probably understood I got a completely empty box, not a missing item. Their terms when it comes to these things are confusing at best. They consider the whole box to be 'the item'. I also got hit with an automatic email stating the following: Quote:We have fully investigated this matter, including with the delivery carrier who delivered the package. Based on the outcome of our investigations, we believe the package was delivered to the correct address. In particular we have considered information from our records, as follows which indicate the item as delivered: Not sure how to proceed. I could try to live chat again and explain myself better... Obviously they cannot differentiate between "a missing package" (hence DNA, LIT) which Is what the above message relates to, and a "missing Item" (hence EB) - which Is what you're currently claiming. The only thing of concern Is this: Quote:the package weight What Is the description and "precise weight" of the Item? So I was actually trying to claim a missing item and was misunderstood for an EB. The item weight is well below 120grams. (Yes, I gave up on the argos SE out of uncertainty) But I wasn't trying to claim an EB. I probably didn't make myself clear enough, apologies. I had to go through the bot first and I've stated that the plastic film was not in its original state and that the airpods themselves were missing from their packaging. When transferred later to the rep, they must have understood that I received an Empty Box instead. So just for clarification, I tried the missing item, not the empty box, but I have been misunderstood. Put simply, tell the rep that you've received the package, however the Item was missing. If he doesn't understand that, then he has serious Issues. |
