iPad Pro UK Contract (Sky) - Wimzaa - 07-07-2021

Hello,
I ordered a 12.9 iPad pro on a UK contract that's going to take a couple of weeks to arrive untill it's been restocked.
They are always delivered by currier and they have started taking pictures on delivery as well as a signature so DNA doesn't seem viable.
Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this company?

A signature Is useless. Anyone could've scribbled their name, even the driver himself- which I continue to personally experience.

In terms of photos, what part of the home does the carrier driver tend to capture?

More often then not the package on my doorstep and the open door, both of which are unique. I have Se'd the same currier in the past successfully for missing item method but I had phone calls and knocks at the door and that was just for a £50 item. This item is to heavy for missing item. I don't know how the items are sent out either so feel wrong item (with a the cheapest tablet they offer) may be completely rumbled.

If you're referring to the driver calling and attending your home, the missing Item method Is completely Irrelevant to his delivery run, so I don't see why that took place.

The wrong Item doesn't have to be a tablet, It can be any stock Item.

That aside, Is the packaging suited to the sealed box method?

Yeh. It was coordinated between driver and someone at their office. I'm guessing they needed to clear things up with the merchant or the driver was already being investigated as they were very keen.

Sealed box method is also a no go as drivers are required to take a picture of the device itself before they seal it in a bag and log the seal number.

Then that's their problem, not yours, hence the driver has no right to "harass" you with repeated phone calls and visiting your home.

They'll take a photo of the "box per se", and not void the manufacturer's warranty by breaking the seal and opening It to view Its contents.

As such (and provided the box Is fully covered In cardboard), the sealed box method will suffice.
