KFC has some interesting ties to anime, with the recent Genshin Impact collab, and now Kaguya-sama: Love is War.

Two weeks later, Kaguya-sama's official Twitter account made a nod to the meme by posting an image of a Chika acrylic stand next to a KFC box:
KFC Spain replied in the best way possible: with a kiss from the Colonel himself.
Incidentally, the image is from the I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin' Good Dating Simulator visual novel that debuted in 2019.

Not going to buy KFC anytime soon (way too greasy last time I tried it), but I'm always for companies spending their money on things that make me laugh.

KFC are good at marketing and advertising. The best way to reach Otaku is through anime. So, they would try all they can to attract new customers.

I've also seen a body painter (artist) that I follow did a KFC paint that's featured on their latest ad in the UK: sorry for terrible pic - It's a still from the twitter video xD
