Nice first attempt. I like the font you used in the navigation.
The black border is a bit too close to the logo and navigation, lower it a bit.
Add a Twitter widget or some sort to make it look not as plain.

Overall, it's a masterpiece. Very professional looking and very sleek. Only thing you could improve on is more organizing. Perhaps, where the tab menu is, you can add stitched or non-stitched separators with a very light color. That'll finish it off I guess. :poop:

Looks nice but you should give the text more strength its a pain on the eyes if you were reading a paragraph.

Seems a bit compact to me, I love the color scheme and the fonts.. maybe give the Tweets section some less room and blow up (I mean proportion size) the My Work section, as that's going to be the center of your website, correct?

For a first attemt I would say very good indeed. By time you'll learn. I would also have to agree the black border should have been a bit more away from the logo.
