SE Advice - xithevenom - 06-09-2021 Hey guys The last Weeks i studied almost every method which can be performed in terms of seing, did a few major refunds here and there that were succesful. (2x DNA,Lenovo AR with different Addresses etc )My next Project im trying to refund is a Gaming pc worth 3900 €. Im delivering it to my Girlfriends apartment since she is living on the 4th floor which will almost guarentee that the delivery driver ( DHL) will place it in the entrance of the house. My questions regarding this refund are : 1. A carrier investigation is inevitable i guess, so how can i perform this refund the easiest 2. In case of the site not refunding me is it correct that i escalate it to PP which will be my payment method 3. Any tips or advices from every Se Member here are very welcome especially from @mothered This Site taught me a lot of stuff in a few weeks so did the Socialengineers Blog, im very glad considering myself part of the community now
RE: SE Advice - mothered - 06-09-2021 Firstly, welcome to our community. Quote:Im delivering it to my Girlfriends apartment since she is living on the 4th floor which will almost guarentee that the delivery driver ( DHL) will place it in the entrance of the houseDHL Is known to drop off packages without verification (signature or otherwise) from the receiver. If It's the case with yourself and the package Is left unattended at the doorstep, It's perfect DNA material. Quote:A carrier investigation is inevitable i guess, so how can i perform this refund the easiestCorrect, due to the nature of the method & claim, an Investigation Is almost a certainty. Do note that It's simply part of their protocol to move forward with the claim, so there's no cause for concern. Quote:In case of the site not refunding me is it correct that i escalate it to PP which will be my payment methodYes, that Is correct. You'd file a dispute through PayPal's Resolution Center and that will get escalated to a claim- with the Intention of having the transaction reversed. If that fails, you can perform a chargeback via your credit card provider or a bank reversal through your financial Institution/bank, both of which serve the same purpose. The advantage of this, Is that they do have the power to overturn PayPal's original decision to decline the claim. Quote:im very glad considering myself part of the community nowGreat to read.
