Lockdown Weight - Kon6 - 06-05-2021

What is your weight compared to, let me say...March 2020 to June 2021?

I would not have considered myself a fitness freak, but I did not have an extravagant amount of fat on me and I was more on the lean side. I was massively regrettably lazy during the lockdown - I spent most of my time at home playing games and watching movies, which involved eating a LOT of snacks. I believe I weighed 13 and a half stone (85kg) in March 2020, and now I weigh over 15 stone (over 95kg) - (I am 6'3" feet, by the way). I have commenced going out doing things and just generally going out for long walks with my fiancée, and I have recently paid for a gym membership again, but since things have scarcely commenced getting back to normal, I have had zero motivation. I will ineluctably get back to being fit and active, but right now I remain an indolent slob.

My weight has stayed pretty much the same, even with less activity. Best advice is to continue eating what you like, just less of it.

I used to eat three salubrious meals a day, with snacks in-between - the snacks customarily being fruit or nuts, and I would either work out or go for a jog afore or after work. According to several health apps; to maintain the weight I am at, I would need to have 2,775 calories/day. 2,220 calories/day to lose weight, and 1,665 calories to lose weight expeditious. I am gradually getting myself back into the routine I had afore lockdown commencing tomorrow, and I am going to stick to roughly around 2,000 calories per day.

My weight has stayed the same for the most part. There were times I got a bit heavier and then I would rarely eat for long periods of time. It all depends on how busy I am and how much money I have at the moment.

I eat a lot when bored, and I was bored quite often during the lockdown. I also quit smoking for a month or so during the lockdown, and in that time I was eating double the amount I normally ate on a daily basis.

I've never gotten any sort of test myself, but I'd say I have a pretty high metabolism. I've been skinny my whole life no matter my eating habits were. So this year and past year I've stayed relatively the same weight as I was in 2019. I do still try to stay on top of exercising and eating healthy foods. Just because you're skinny, that doesn't mean that you're healthy.

Smoking usually makes me eat more, but I guess that entirely depends on what you're smoking lol.

No difference In weight on my end.

I stand at 198 cm, so given my eating habits haven't changed, It's difficult to gain weight at that height.

I still can't believe you're so tall xD

The lads at my workplace hop on the scales (used for what the company normally ships out) to see how they're doing each week. On of them has been eating everything that has meat/fat/cheese on it that he can get his hands on, but still managed to loose a couple kilos. What I'd give to have that metabolism. He probably burns more calories as he chews, than what he seems to absorb.

To be honest It doesn't seem tall to me, namely because I was 198 cm at the age of 17/18 (and stopped there) which was a very long time ago, so I don't know any different.

Though, I realize the Inconvenience of having to bend with the majority of physical tasks/chores.

Yes, I do the same by weighing myself every so often on the shipping scales at work.

Metabolism plays a huge role with weight gain/loss. I've known people who eat next to nothing (a few slices of bread with butter), yet still put on weight. On the other hand, there are those who eat all types of fatty foods with very little to no effect on their weight.
